Wrigley's Juicy Fruit Advertising Plate

The Meek & Beach Co., Coshocton, Ohio, c. early 1900s (I think), 10" diameter. I'm estimating the date on this, but it feels right. According to Wrigley's website Juicy Fruit gum was introduced in 1893 so it might date back to the 1890's, but let's err on the side of later. The attribution to Meek & Beach is noted in teensy tiny print on the bottom edge of the inner circle of the plate; I needed a magnifying glass to read it. With the magnifying glass it's quite clear, and the fact that the clarity of such minuscule print is so good is a testament to the quality of the plate's graphics.

I think this was just a decorative plate, probably given away 100+ years ago for advertising. Like Millard gumball machines, what was free then can be pretty expensive now. It's a pretty plate that oozes a great old timey look. I'm not sure what it's made of, but it attracts a magnet.
