Beech Nut Display Stand

c. 1910s or 1920s, 14". I've always liked this stand and think it's a classic gum advertising piece. You won't find one on every street corner but it's not rare by any means. Conditions vary widely, though, and this is one of the nicest examples I've seen. The paint is great even in the wells that hold the gum, and it has no dents. I believe it's made of tin and is gorgeous, but it's not very thick and wouldn't withstand even the smallest of children jumping up and down on it.
